June 24, 2023 - Psalms 27:14
“Here’s what I’ve learned through it all: Don’t give up; don’t be impatient; be entwined as one with the Lord. Be brave and courageous, and never lose hope. Yes, keep on waiting— for he will never disappoint you!” Psalms 27:14 TPT
Lord, I pray that you would teach us to wait on you; to be patient and trust that you are moving. We are never forgotten. There is so much you will do in us in the waiting if we just tune into you and keep our eyes on you.
You say that you will renew our strength as we wait on you. Don’t allow our faith to falter. Teach us how to dig deep in the waiting and trust even more. We have all experienced your faithfulness. We know you are trustworthy. Help us to stand on that and when the enemy tries to tell us otherwise, we will recount all the times you have been faithful. It will both renew our faith and silence him.
No matter what the situation looks like or what the earthly reports about the situation say, we will declare your truth, praise you for our coming breakthrough, and wait for you to move.
Isaiah 40 says that when we wait you will renew our strength and we will rise up like eagles and soar. If at any time we are weary, teach us to focus on you and wait. You say then we will walk and not get weary and run and not faint. Teach us how to be strengthened by you in the waiting.
Our steps are ordered by you. Help us to trust that. Help increase our hope and patience. If you said it, then it will happen in due season. We commit to waiting on your ways. We will not try to make things happen on our own strength or our own way, but we will wait for you.
Lord, you are so good to us. You are so faithful. You are so loving. We will wait on you always. We will trust you always. We will always keep our eyes fixed on you.
