June 14, 2022 - 1 Corinthians 13:13
“Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love.” 1 Corinthians 13:13NLT
Lord, we thank you for these three amazing things. Life without them wouldn’t be worth living. What a wonderful gift that you supply them to us without measure. We want to see them grow in our lives. We want to walk in greater faith and see you do larger miracles in and through us because of our great faith. Let us learn to turn to you immediately for solutions to those things that our minds want to say are impossible. Also, please help to ground our faith in you to the point that we always have an abundance of hope that you will come through. You will never fail us. You are our deliverer and our salvation. Nothing we face will ever be too big for you to easily handle. We praise your name!
When we bring the three of these things together, they become a strong cord that isn’t easily broken. We will represent you well, especially if we are living with an abundance of your pure love in us. When we are living out of your love, we easily put others before ourselves and humility becomes something that naturally happens. When we see others through your eyes of love, forgiveness comes much easier. When we understand how big your love for us is, our confidence and faith in you are strong. When we are full of your love, evangelism flows naturally out of us and isn’t a chore we have to force ourselves to do. When our relationship with you is defined by love, we wake up joyful, full of worship and expectation for our day like a couple who are giddy with young love. It is obvious why the greatest of these is love. When we have even a small understanding of your love and walk in it, it changes our lives in so many ways. Lord, we ask that you allow us to experience your love in a deeper way. Let it flow out of us to new levels.
