July 5, 2024 - Psalms‬ ‭30‬:‭4‬-‭5

“Sing to the Lord, all you godly ones! Praise his holy name. For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime! Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning.” Psalms 30:4-5 NLT

All praise be to you, our Lord. We can’t wait for the day when every knee bows and every tongue confesses that you are the Almighty God. We won’t wait. We proclaim that you are the Lord of our life today. Help us to live in a way that shows that you truly are our Lord, and that we give our life to you fully. Help us to always choose to live in a holy manner that glorifies you, our most Holy God. We praise you for your mercy and grace that make that possible. Jesus, we are forever grateful for the price you paid. All praise be to your name. We praise you that your anger lasts only for a moment, but your love for us and your favor for us lasts forever. Oh, how wonderful you are to us. Help us always remember that no matter what we are facing in our lives at any given moment. Even in the darkest of nights, help us to stand on your truth. Help us to always press into the fact that morning is coming, and joy is just over the horizon. Ground us deep in you, so no matter what life throws our way, we only cling to you even harder. You are too good to us to turn our backs on you. Help us ground our roots so deep in you that even in the dryest drought, we still flourish because we are still anchored in you.

In Jesus name, amen.
