July 31, 2024 - Ezekiel‬ ‭36‬:‭24‬-‭27

“For I will gather you up from all the nations and bring you home again to your land. Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean. Your filth will be washed away, and you will no longer worship idols. And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart. And I will put my Spirit in you so that you will follow my decrees and be careful to obey my regulations.” Ezekiel 36:24-27 NLT

Lord, we praise you for how wonderful you are to us. Thank you for how you rescued us. You did gather us up and you brought us home to you. We praise you for how you clean us up, and for how you do that again and again when we need it. The way you so graciously wash away our filth is so amazing, and we are so grateful. Tear down any idols that we have in our lives. Open our eyes to them and give us a hatred for them. We thank you for how you have given us a new heart. The old is washed away and we have been made new. We thank you for working out the stones and imperfections in our hearts and making it soft and responsive. We give you permission to continue to do your work in us. Continue to transform our spirit until we walk with a spirit that wants to follow your decrees and walk in obedience. We thank you that we are not finished but you are doing your wonderful work in us and making us new. Hallelujah!

In Jesus name, amen.
