July 29, 2024 - Ruth‬ ‭2‬:‭12

“May the Lord repay you for what you have done. May you be richly rewarded by the Lord, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge.” Ruth 2:12 NIV

Lord, we thank you for how amazing you are to us. We are so grateful for your love and your care. We deserve nothing from you, yet you love to shower us with your blessings. You love to bless us when we walk in obedience and live for you. You deserve all our obedience because you are the God-over-all and worthy of all our praise, our lives, and our submission. We should not need to be rewarded by you for serving you, our master, yet you show your goodness to us in that you richly reward us. We praise you for the outpouring of your blessings in our lives. We praise you for your ever-loving kindnesses. We give you all honor and glory. Help us never to gain an entitled attitude with you and your blessings, but always live with a thankful heart towards you and your blessings. We praise you that you call us your children and are our safe place. We praise you for all the authority that you have given us as your children, we want to walk in it as you designed, but again always with a humble and thankful heart. Lord, teach us how to balance this correctly. We love and praise you for how wonderful you are to us.

In Jesus name, amen.
