July 28, 2024 - Hebrews 10:19-20

“We are brothers and sisters in God’s family because of the blood of Jesus, and he welcomes us to come right into the most holy sanctuary in the heavenly realm—boldly and with no hesitation. For he has dedicated a new, life-giving way for us to approach God. For just as the veil was torn in two, Jesus’ body was torn open to give us free and fresh access to him!” Hebrews 10:19-20 TPT

Jesus, we praise you for the price you paid with your blood for us. You made it possible for us to become one with you. We praise you for welcoming us into your family. What a wonderful privilege to be considered your brother or sister, to be adopted and called His own by our Father. Wow. We can’t thank you enough for your sacrifice to make this all possible. We praise you for making it possible for us to approach your holy sanctuary boldly and without hesitation, like a beloved child running into their father’s office. Thank you for seeing us just like that and loving to see us running up to you. Lord, help us to fully begin to understand the reality of what all that means. Help us to understand your love for us and how you long to spend time with us. Give us revelation to how your heart rejoices over us. We also ask for more understanding of the authority we have as a child of God. Teach us how to walk boldly in that authority.

Lord, we also ask for you to help us live our lives as children who love their father so much that they always want to walk in obedience and live to honor him. Teach us to balance seeing you as a Father who is loving and can be boldly approached, but also always never forgetting who you are and the authority you hold. We also want to live in reverence of you as the Almighty and Holy God.

In Jesus name, amen.
