July 23, 2023 - Jeremiah‬ ‭17:7

“But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence.” Jeremiah17:7 NLT

Lord, oh how we want our trust to always be in you. No matter what we are facing, help us to be unwavering, because of how strongly rooted we are in you. Let our foundation be fully set on the Rock. Even when the wind and waves blow, let us have peace and trust in you, because we know we can’t be blown off the Foundation. We thank you that you are such a trustworthy God.

Even when it seems everything is falling apart around us, we can trust you to always be there. Thank you in the darkest of darkest nights, when all hope seems to be lost, it isn’t. All we need to do is set our eyes on you and hold tight. You will carry us through. When we feel lost and can’t find our way, help us to cling to you and trust you to carry us into the light again. Keep our hope anchored in you.

Lord, continue to grow our confidence in you. Make us confident in knowing and hearing your voice. Let us always be willing to follow you anywhere you lead. When you tell us to do something let us not hesitate, wondering if we heard you right but let us boldly walk into what you are asking of us. Never let us shy away from the giftings and callings you have placed on each of our lives. Grow us into confident, bold, and obedient followers. Draw us closer and help us press in to know you more for that is where our confidence will naturally grow.

We thank you for that, Lord. So many things that we can try so hard to be successful in or grow in, naturally happen in us as we draw closer to you. Thank you for how that works. Thank you for how you grow us. You are so amazing. Your presence is so wonderful. We want so much more of you God. Take us deeper still. More, Lord, more!
