July 22, 2023 - Job 11:7

“Can you search out the deep things of God? Can you find out the limits of the Almighty?” Job 11:7 NKJV

Lord, we thank you that there is so much more to you than we could ever understand or discover. Your grandeur has no limits. You are so much larger than our minds can comprehend. What a wonderful thing. We can spend eternity discovering more about you and never run out of things to discover. We look forward to the day we get to heaven and see you face to face. We look forward to spending eternity in your presence and discovering more and more of who you are. We thank you that this doesn’t have to wait until we get to heaven. You want to show us more of you every day while we are here on earth. How wonderful.

We praise you for being like an old, comfortable, trustworthy friend that we know well. One that we can be at ease with. You know our history and yet you stand with us. We know that you will not abandon us in the hard times because you have stood with us through them before. We have had beautiful moments of joy and celebration with you. We have a beautiful history that makes for a wonderful foundation to our relationship. But you want to make yourself new to us every day. Our relationship with you never should get boring. It can be both new and exciting and wonderfully comfortable and familiar at the same time.

Lord, we want to take the time every day to sit and dine with you. We want to take the time to ask questions and seek out more of you. We thank you that you have new manna for us each day. We don’t have to dine on leftovers but can go deeper each day on who you are. Lord, help us keep pressing in for more of you. Reintroduce yourself to us each day and let us discover things about you that we didn’t know. We want to fall in love with you all over again as we discover more of you. Thank you for how amazing it is loving you.
