July 22, 2022 - Isaiah 25:1
“O LORD, I will honor and praise your name, for you are my God. You do such wonderful things! You planned them long ago, and now you have accomplished them.” Isaiah 25:1 NLT
Lord, we want to live our lives to honor your name. You are worthy of all our praise. You are worthy of our full devotion to you. We can never repay you for the gifts that you have given us, but we can do our best to live in a way that brings glory to you. We can do all that we can do to make your name known. We can shine your light brightly in our dark world and pray that the lost would be drawn to you through the way we live. This is what we desire. Holy Spirit, help us live our lives this way. Show us anything in us that doesn’t bring glory to you. Help us uproot it from our lives and make a full change from that behavior. Give us your heart for the lost around us and give us insight on how to draw them closer to you.
We praise you for the wondrous things that you do for us. You are an amazing God, and it is such a privilege to be completely loved by you. Thank you for the things that you do in our lives. Thank you for the price that you paid to set us free from the hold of sin. Thank you for making a way for us to have a personal relationship with you. Thank you for making a way for us to spend all eternity with you. Thank you that you adopt us as your own and you restore us. Thank you for how you speak to us and share who you are with us. Thank you for protecting us and fighting for us. Thank you that you will never leave or forsake us. We could go on and on about the wondrous things that you do for us.
Lord, we praise you that when you say you are going to do something you will follow through. The things that you have promised us will come to pass. We praise you that your plans never fail. We can always count on you. You are amazing.
