July 20, 2023 - Psalms‬ ‭24:1‬

“The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it. The world and all its people belong to him.” Psalms 24:1 NLT

Lord, you are the God overall. You existed before anything we can see existed. You created it all - the universe, the earth, the plants, the animals, the people, the angels, the creatures of heaven, and so much more than we can see or imagine this side of heaven. We thank you for how creative you are. We thank you for the huge variety you have created for us to experience. You are such an amazing God.

Lord, there is nothing more powerful than you. Nothing more creative than you. Nothing that will not eventually submit to you. You are so worthy of all our praise. You sit upon the throne and unto you we give our everything. All glory belongs to you. For you are glorious and worthy to be praised. Everything exists because you give it life. We thank you that you give us life every day. We commit to giving that life back to you, for it was never really ours. Everything belongs to you; it is only ours to steward.

Lord, we thank you that all the people on the earth belong to you. Satan might think that he owns so many of them, but that is not true. They were created by you. They were given a plan and a destiny by you. We want to do everything we can to lead people to you and into that destiny. Let us always remember that our life belongs to you and that you have called each of us to be salt and light to reach those that are lost. Help us glorify your name in all we do. Let us commit our lives fully back to you, for they belong to you anyway. You are so worthy of them. You are so worthy of all the lives on earth. You died to buy them back. You have paid the price. Let us live to bring you the reward for all your suffering.
