July 20, 2022 - Psalms‬ ‭104:27-31

“They all depend on you to give them food as they need it. When you supply it, they gather it. You open your hand to feed them, and they are richly satisfied. But if you turn away from them, they panic. When you take away their breath, they die and turn again to dust. When you give them your breath, life is created, and you renew the face of the earth. May the glory of the Lord continue forever! The Lord takes pleasure in all he has made!” Psalms 104:27-31 NLT

Lord, we praise you for being our provider. We praise you that when you provide, we are richly satisfied. You love to give lavishly. You are so wonderful to us. The way you care for us is amazing. We don’t even realize all that you are really doing to care for us. You are what gives us life. If you were to pull away all our love and care, we would panic and die. Without you not only is life not possible, but even if it was possible, it wouldn’t be worth living. Even those who don’t know you or deny you are only living because you give them life and sustain them. Lord, for those of us that do know you, help us remember just how involved you are in our lives. Even in those seasons when we don’t feel you and can’t see as much of your blessings as other seasons, help us remember that we are living – we are breathing in your breath – so you are still with us. Even in those seasons life feels so hard, it is easy to question if it is worth living, help us remember that it is worth it because of you and your love for us. We ask in those seasons, you would help us stand in faith and keep pressing into you to be renewed.

Lord, we proclaim glory to your name forever and ever. You are the only living God. You are beyond amazing. We look forward to spending all eternity worshiping you. We praise you for your love. We praise you for how you take pleasure in us. We give all glory to you!
