July 19, 2024 - Ephesians‬ ‭1‬:‭22‬-‭23

“God has put all things under the authority of Christ and has made him head over all things for the benefit of the church. And the church is his body; it is made full and complete by Christ, who fills all things everywhere with himself.” Ephesians 1:22-23 NLT

Jesus, all praise be to you. How magnificent is your name. You are glorious and we are so grateful for all that you have done for us. Your love is astounding. You are the Almighty. Nothing compares to you. You hold all authority now and forevermore. Yet, you don’t lord that power over us. You fight for us. You love us unconditionally. You have claimed the church as your bride to love and cherish for all eternity. How beautiful. We are so grateful to be called beloved by you. We have been made one with you, full and complete. In you, we lack nothing. Help us understand this fact to the core of who we are and live like we truly believe it. Fill us up with more of you and transform us to be more like you. Uproot anything in us that is keeping us from embracing more of you in our lives. We want all that you have for us. We want to rise up and be your beautifully pure bride that walks confidently in your love for us.  Thank you so much for how you love us and for all the wonderful plans that you have in store for us.
