July 19, 2023 - Proverbs 29:25
“Fear and intimidation is a trap that holds you back. But when you place your confidence in the Lord, you will be seated in the high place.” Proverbs 29:25 TPT
Lord, we thank you for the insight that you give to us so freely. Your wisdom is such a blessing. Help us not just hear it but help us apply it to our lives and live it out. We ask for you to show us any places in our lives where we are allowing fear to intimidate us. We don’t want to surrender any of ourselves to fear. We recognize that it is a trap that holds us back.
Help us learn to not just recognize fear in us but overcome it. Give us the strength needed to stand against it and not give into it. We thank you that because of you we do have the strength that we need to overcome. You have already given us authority over Satan, and we don’t want to give him any power to control us. Forgive us for any place that we have surrendered to his fear and intimidation. We want to learn to always walk in freedom, peace, and confidence. We want to be bold and courageous for you.
Lord, we thank you that you want to see us live free of fear. You tell us time and time again in the Bible to, “Fear not”. You are walking with us, and you have our back. We have no reason to fear. Thank you that we can learn to find peace and joy in all circumstances. Help us not to focus on the reasons to fear or worry.
Lord, we choose to put our confidence in you today. When fear wants to make us hesitate and or stop, we choose to turn and look to you for the strength to overcome it. We thank you that you will seat us in high places. What a beautiful promise. Thank you, God. You are so good to us. We can trust you. You are faithful to us, always. Thank you! All praise be to your mighty name!
