July 14, 2023 - Psalms‬ ‭34:1‬

“I will praise the Lord at all times. I will constantly speak his praises.” Psalms 34:1 NLT

Yes, Lord! We want to be in constant praise of you. We want to live a lifestyle of worship, not just in the words we speak but in our every action. Help us live our lives in a way that brings you glory and lifts your name high. Let us choose a good and joyful attitude even when we have every right to have a bad one. Let us choose to obey when it would be so easy not to. Let us choose to walk in selflessness when selfishness is the way we want to go. Let us choose to serve when we really just want to be served. Let us choose to forgive when holding a grudge feels so much better. Let us choose love even when it isn’t deserved. Let us make time to sit at your feet and learn from you, even when we have to sacrifice to make it happen. When we choose to do all those things it is an act of worship to you, and that is how we want to live.

Lord, you truly are worthy of all the praise. You are the one true God. The Almighty King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Always and forever, you will be Holy. You are always trustworthy and faithful. You are always there for us. You never leave or forsake us. Thank you for how you choose to love us. The creativity, detail, and beauty that you put in this world for us to enjoy just speaks so much to your love for us. We praise you for your forgiveness. We praise you that you don’t want us to be your slaves, but you want a relationship with us. We are so blown away by your goodness. We praise you for how you know us each intimately and want to see us succeed.

Lord, we thank you for all these things and more. It truly is an honor to live for you. We want to honor and praise you with our every breath and action. You are so worthy of our all.
