January 8, 2022 - Proverbs 4:20-22

“Listen carefully, my dear child, to everything that I teach you, and pay attention to all that I have to say. Fill your thoughts with my words until they penetrate deep into your spirit. Then, as you unwrap my words, they will impart true life and radiant health into the very core of your being.” Proverbs 4:20-22 TPT

Lord, we thank you so much for your word. It is such a precious gift to us. It isn’t just a book; it is a love letter full of wisdom and guidance. Open our eyes to see and understand all that it is and all that it can do for us. Never let us forget that it is a living thing. God, it is part of who you are, and it contains your power. You have given us such a wonderful thing and we want to use it in the manner you intended. Help us not to take it for granted. Increase our desire to consume it and let us long for more of it in our lives.

Help us to pay close attention to all that it says. Open our spirits to your wisdom and allow us to get the deeper meaning to all that it is saying to us. Help us discover the treasures you have hidden in it. We want to allow it to speak to the deep places in our lives even if it is hard to hear or makes us uncomfortable. Let your words fill our thoughts. Help us ponder on them and get lost in thought about them. Let us hide them away deep in who we are.

Lord, we ask that you unwrap them in us. Allow them to impart your true life to us. Let them change us from the inside out. Let them teach us how to look and act like you. We also proclaim that from our very core we would have radiant health. We claim that in every area of our life. Let our soul and spirit both be healthy and fruitful. Also, let our physical body walk in your complete health. We praise you for this beautiful promise. We praise you for the power, wisdom, life, and health that is coming our way.
