January 26, 2022 - John 17:22-24

(Jesus praying for all believers) “I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me. “Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.” John 17:22-24 NIV

Jesus, we thank you for this beautiful prayer for us. We thank you for the glory that you have given us. What an incredible gift. We also praise you for the gift that you are to us. You are in us and have become a part of who we are. We have been made one with you. Lord, we want to walk in unity with you and the Father. Lord, as we keep our eyes on you and walk in unity with you, allow us to also walk in unity with other believers.

We thank you for wanting us near you. You want us to be where you are. How wonderful that you want to reveal yourself to us. You want us to be in your presence. We respond and say that we want to be with you. Jesus, give us a deeper revelation of you. Please allow us to see more of your glory. We want to experience more layers of your love. Today, please allow us to sense your nearness to us. We want to know you more. We want to experience your presence nearer. Help us remove anything from our lives that creates space between you and us. Please remove anything that keeps your glory out of our lives. We don’t want whatever it is that separates us from you. We want more of you and your glory.

Lord, when we enter a room, we want to change the atmosphere. We want your presence and glory in us to be evident to those around us. We want everything about our lives to tell the world your story. Let the world see the love that you have for us. Make us more like you.
