January 18, 2024 - Proverbs‬ ‭18:4 & 20

“Words of wisdom are like a fresh, flowing brook— like deep waters that spring forth from within, bubbling up inside the one with understanding. Sharing words of wisdom is satisfying to your inner being. It encourages you to know that you’ve changed someone else’s life.” Proverbs 18:4 & 20 TPT

Lord, we thank you that your wisdom brings refreshment. We want more of that refreshing water within us. Help us walk in your understanding. Open our eyes to see past the physical and know what you are doing in the spiritual. Show us how to use the wisdom and understanding you gave us to bring refreshing waters to others around us. If ever our words or actions are doing something that are not bringing life and refreshment to others, please open our eyes to it and help change what we are doing. Help us to always be ones to bring your refreshing waters to every situation we go into. Lord, give us wisdom and strength to do that even when it is hard. Even when we need to bring correction or speak hard words to someone, show us how to do it in a way that brings life and refreshment to their souls. Show us your timing and ways. Let people be drawn to us because of the refreshing wisdom that bubbles out of us.

Lord, it is so encouraging to have a part in changing someone’s life for the better. Increase our wisdom, so that we live from a place of walking out and sharing your truth. We thank you that you said when we ask for wisdom you will give it to us in abundance. Lord, we are excited to see how you are growing us so that we can help grow others. Thank you for all you have planned for each of us. Your plans are better than we can imagine, and you are weaving everything together to make it work for your good. We trust you God. Help us live our lives to always honor you.
