February 9, 2022 - 2 Thessalonians 3:3

“But the Lord is faithful; he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one.” 2 Thessalonians 3:3 NLT

Lord, we praise you for your faithfulness to us. We are so grateful for how you are always there for us. We praise you for how you make a way through the impossible for us. We praise you that no matter how hard the enemy fights against us or how impossible he might make things seem, you are the one fighting for us. You will part the Red Sea for us if that is what it takes to prove your faithfulness. We praise you for your goodness. You are so wonderful.

We thank you for how you strengthen us for whatever we might face. You promise that you will not give us more than we can handle. We praise you that we don’t have to live off milk our whole lives but you strengthen us so we can victoriously face bigger and bigger obstacles and fight bigger and bigger battles. We praise you because typically the larger the battle the bigger the victory and the rewards. Lord, we ask that you continue to strengthen us. Grow our roots deeper in you so we have a sure foundation. We want to stand firm in you even when the storms of life try to blow us over and uproot us.

Lord, we praise you for guarding us from the evil one. We will never face him alone. We want to make sure that we are inviting you into every battle that we face from the smallest of battles to the largest of them. We never want to run into battle on our own strength or trusting in our own ways. We will surely lose if that is the case. Help us to give the battle over to you and ask you how we should proceed. Then give us the courage to walk in obedience to what you ask even if it sounds crazy. For you and your ways are always trustworthy. We praise the name of the Lord, forever and always.
