“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us.” Romans 8:31, 34 ESV
Jesus, thank you so much for how you love and support us. You are for us - 100%, completely for us. Help us uproot the lies that have us thinking in any manner that you are there waiting to condemn us anytime we mess up. At times there are consequences for our sin, but you are not there just waiting for us to mess up so you can call us out. You are there cheering us on. You are literally in heaven, sitting at the right hand of God interceding for each of us. You are praying for us to succeed. You are praying for us to draw near to you. You are praying for us to make it through the storms and battles we face. You are praying for us to be able to continue to hold tight to you when the enemy is trying to tear us away. You are praying that when we stumble and find ourselves all dirty yet again, that we would run to your open arms and accept your forgiveness and not allow the enemy to beat us up over it. You are praying that we would accept all the amazing things that you have for us. The list goes on and on. Regardless of what we are facing, we can trust and stand firm in the fact that you are there for us; that you love us; that you are interceding for us; that we are not alone.
Oh, how we praise your name for how wonderful you are to us. You are such a good and loving God. It is beyond our understanding the price that you paid to offer us forgiveness and restore us into the relationship with you that we were designed to walk in. We offer you all that we are as an act of worship to you, our worthy King. All glory, honor, and praise be to your name.
In Jesus name, amen.
