February 29, 2024 - Galatians 6:8
“The harvest you reap reveals the seed that you planted. If you plant the corrupt seeds of self-life into this natural realm, you can expect a harvest of corruption. If you plant the good seeds of Spirit-life you will reap beautiful fruits that grow from the everlasting life of the Spirit.” Galatians 6:8 TPT
Lord, we thank you for the principles of your kingdom. We thank you that we can count on the fact that what we sow, we will reap. Show us any place in our lives where we have planted “corrupt seeds of self-life”. We don’t want to sow sinful seeds that will reap destruction. We don’t want to be selfish and “hoard” the things that you have given to us. We don’t want to live to build ourselves up and build our own kingdom. Open our eyes to any place we can find these things in our lives. If we find any of this, forgive us and teach us how to correct this in our lives.
Holy Spirit, we want to farm your seeds. Teach us how to do that. Thank you that when we sow your seeds, we get eternal life. How wonderful! We don’t want to keep that to ourselves. Teach us how to be generous with all that you have given to us. We want to freely give what we have received. We want to have a large fruit-filled harvest. Lord, we want this in every area of our lives. We want to sow our time, our talents, our resources, our money, & our possessions. We want to sow in a way that we can be a part of reaping you a great harvest of souls.
Lord, help us increase our sowing seeds of prayer, reading our Bibles, seeking your wisdom, and spending time in your presence. Let us harvest a deeper relationship with you and a greater understanding of your ways. This is the thing that holds the greatest value in our lives and is definitely worth the investment. Please give us your strategies on how to fit more of it into our days.
In Jesus name, amen.
