February 26, 2024 - Colossians‬ ‭1:10-11

“We pray that you would walk in the ways of true righteousness, pleasing God in every good thing you do. Then you’ll become fruit-bearing branches, yielding to his life, and maturing in the rich experience of knowing God in his fullness! And we pray that you would be energized with all his explosive power from the realm of his magnificent glory, filling you with great hope.” Colossians 1:10-11 TPT

Lord, we receive this prayer that Paul wrote. We ask that you make these things true in our lives. We pray that you would help us always walk in the ways of true righteousness. When we deviate from that path, open our eyes to it and help us realign to your righteous ways. Give us a hatred for allowing sin in our lives. Holy Spirit, help us live a life that is pleasing to God in all we do.

Grow us into abundant fruit-bearing trees. Help us grow healthy and strong. Teach us how to push our roots in deep so we are solidly grounded in you. Keep pruning us back when necessary so we can bear more fruit for you. Help us always yield our lives to you and mature in our relationship with you.

Yes, Lord! We pray that you energize us with your explosive power. Let us experience more of your magnificent glory daily. We thank you that you long to share it with us. Let us be quick to share your power and glory with those around us. Give us courage to step out in faith and believe you for impossible things. Let us be quick to pray for others. Not just “safe” prayers, but prayers that require faith. Let us be quick to offer love to others, especially when it is not convenient. Fill us with your hope and let it make us look different from the world around us. Shine out of us and draw the hopeless to you, Jesus.

In Jesus name, amen.
