February 26, 2022 - 1 John 1:2

“This one who is life itself was revealed to us, and we have seen him. And now we testify and proclaim to you that he is the one who is eternal life. He was with the Father, and then he was revealed to us.” 1 John 1:2 NLT

Jesus, we thank you that you choose to come to earth to reveal yourself to us. What a wonderful gift. We praise you that you are life itself. You are what makes life possible. You are in every living thing and without you nothing could live. We praise you for your love for us. We praise you for creating each of us. It is such an honor to be the perfect creation of the ultimate creator. What an honor to have the God over everything be what gives each of us life. Then to have you come to earth, sacrifice yourself for us so that we could walk in close relationship with you. Wow. Jesus, you are so amazing.

Not only do you give us life so we can live here on earth but, Jesus, through your sacrifice, we are able to have life for all eternity. We cannot wait to spend eternity worshiping you, getting to know you, creating with you, laughing with you, exploring with you and more. We can’t wait to see what all you have in store for our time with you in eternity. We praise you for making a way for us. We praise you that you want us to know you. You want us to know you here on earth and for all eternity. You came to earth and “walked in our shoes”, so we could relate to you and you to us. We thank you for the understanding that you have for all we go through. We praise you for all that you willingly laid down so you could come to earth for us. You are so amazing to us, and we can’t wait to spend eternity worshipping you.
