February 25, 2022 - Proverbs‬ ‭2:2-6

“Tune your ears to wisdom, and concentrate on understanding. Cry out for insight, and ask for understanding. Search for them as you would for silver; seek them like hidden treasures. Then you will understand what it means to fear the Lord, and you will gain knowledge of God. For the Lord grants wisdom! From his mouth come knowledge and understanding.” Proverbs 2:2-6 NLT

Yes, Lord! We cry out for your wisdom and insight. Give us your understanding. Let it go beyond what we know in the natural. Let us see and understand the heavenly realm. Tune our ears into your wisdom. Let it ring true in us when we hear it. Give us the clear discernment to know when something isn’t truth or isn’t what you are saying to do in a situation. Make your words so clear to us. Silence any lies or noise the enemy would want to make to drown out your voice in us. Increase our ability to concentrate on your wisdom and understanding regardless of the distractions around us.

Lord, help us to treasure your wisdom like we should. We want to search it out. We want to spend time in your Word, digging out truths. Give us your revelations to understand beyond just the words, to the true meaning. We know that your Word and wisdom are true treasure for they will help us discover more of you, the ultimate treasure. Increase our passion to search out these treasures. For we know that they will reveal more of you to us. Increase our understanding of the fear of the Lord. We praise you that you will grant us wisdom – this verse declares it so. Lord, we come before you today expectantly with open hands ready to receive. Open your mouth and pour out your understanding and knowledge over us. We praise you for this wonderful gift.
