February 24, 2023 - Romans 15:13
“Now may God, the fountain of hope, fill you to overflowing with uncontainable joy and perfect peace as you trust in him. And may the power of the Holy Spirit continually surround your life with his super-abundance until you radiate with hope!” Romans 15:13 TPT
Lord, we praise you that you are our fountain of hope. And how wonderful that you are a fountain that will never run dry. As long as we drink you in, we will always have hope! We praise you for your hope. No matter what we are facing or how hard life has become, we never have to be hopeless! What a wonderful fact. We praise you for this, Lord. This is one of the many things that makes us, as your followers, different from the world around us.
We praise you that we also find uncontainable joy and perfect peace in you. Our joy and peace are not based on our circumstances, but they come from you. We can also walk in them even in the hard and painful seasons. When everything is crazy and unknown, we don’t have to feel like a leaf being tossed around by the wind, because we trust that we are secure in you. We can rest in that fact.
Holy Spirit, we invite you to come and fill us with your power today and every day. We need to be constantly surrounded by your presence. We need you to fill us up each day with your hope, joy, peace, and anything else that we might need for what we will face that day. We thank you that you want to fill us abundantly. We come to you expectantly with open hands and hearts. We declare that we need you. Come and radiate through us and help us be an example to the lost around us. Teach us how to stand firm and bring your kingdom to earth. Help us live above our circumstances and shine bright for you. We want to bring glory to your name and do all that we can to expand your kingdom here on earth!
