“You go before me and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head.” Psalms 139:5 NLT

Lord, the way you love and care for us is incredible. There is no where we can go that you don’t go with us. You go before us. You are preparing the way for us. As unexpected as the future might sometimes be for us, you are not caught off guard. You go before us into whatever we might face. You go behind us and protect us. We don’t have to worry about our past, because when we give our lives to you, you take care of our past. We are completely surrounded by you. There is no one that we would rather have surrounding us than you. You love us perfectly. Nothing can surprise you or overcome you. You are our mighty, victorious warrior who wars for us. We can put our trust in you, no matter where life takes us.

We praise you for how you rest your hand on us. You are our loving parent, who will never fail us. You cherish us and see us as your prize possession. It is remarkable how loving you are to us despite the fact that we have done nothing to deserve your love. Your hand on us is always full of love, even in the moments when you bring correction. Give us a greater understanding of how great your love for us is and let it transform us and the way we see you. Thank you for your love and your hand of blessings. We praise you for your love, blessings, and protection. You are so good to us.
