February 2, 2024 - Psalms‬ ‭144:1

“Praise the Lord, who is my rock. He trains my hands for war and gives my fingers skill for battle.” Psalms 144:1 NLT

Lord, we lift your name up. You are worthy of all our praises. You are our rock and the sure foundation that we can safely build our lives upon. Thank you that when the storms come and the winds blow, we can trust that the foundation will hold. Even when everything around us is in chaos, you are the rock that holds firm. When we keep our eyes fixed on you, we are firmly planted. You never leave us and are always faithful to us. We praise your name!

Lord, we praise you for always preparing us for what we need to face. We thank you for your Word that is so full of instructions and insights to help us be victorious. Thank you that our hands are trained for war. Holy Spirit, we ask that you grow us into mighty warriors. We want to influence and change culture. We want to take back ground and souls that the enemy has claimed. We want to be very active in establishing your kingdom here on earth. Lord, we know that we must be very purposeful for these things to happen. They won’t happen by accident. Satan is fighting hard against our mission. Please help us be people who make the enemy’s army tremble and flee.

Lord, we praise you that you have given each of us certain skills that we need for the battles you have called us to fight. We praise you that you made each of us for a specific purpose. Not one of us is insignificant or inadequate. Holy Spirit, we ask that you open our eyes to the skills we were specifically given, show us their significance, and how to use them to their maximum ability. Jesus, we want to give you the best that we have.

In Jesus name, amen.
