February 2, 2022 - Revelation 4:1
“Then suddenly…I saw a portal open into the heavenly realm, and the same trumpet-voice I heard speaking with me at the beginning said, “Ascend into this realm! I want to reveal to you what must happen after this.”” Revelation 4:1 TPT
Lord, we want to ascend to where you are, into your realm. Open our eyes to see beyond this world. Draw us up to your throne room. Reveal yourself to us. Open our minds to understand you and your ways. We want so much more of you God. Give us new and fresh revelations. We will not be content living on yesterday’s bread. We want fresh bread for today. Forgive us for the times we get content living on stale bread. We praise you that you don’t want that for us. We thank you for spreading out a feast before us each day. Forgive us for not taking the time to sit at your table and eat what you have set out.
Today, we come before you ready to feast with you. We want to see things we have never seen before. Reveal new things to us. Lord, we don’t want to only live off what others feed us - living off their leftovers. As good as they may be, they are not the same as getting fresh food directly from you. Silence any lies that tell us you won’t speak to us like that. You say that you will. We praise you for how you long to share yourself with us. You want us to come up to you so that you can reveal to us what we could not know otherwise. We praise you for wanting us in your presence. Thank you that you created us to fellowship with you. Draw each of us to a place in our relationship with you that you are more real to us than someone that we can reach out and touch right in front of us. We want to have daily conversations with you. Not just us talking to you, or even hearing bits of things from you, but entire back and forth conversations. Grow us in our understanding of how to hear your voice. Silence any lies that hold us back from walking in that place with you.
