February 19, 2024 - Matthew‬ ‭7:7-8

““Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.” Matthew 7:7-8 NIV

Lord, we thank you that you are such a wonderful and generous father. Lord, we praise you for all that you have given to us. You give such good gifts. We thank you so much for everything that you give us. The tangible things that you have given us here on earth are great, but the thing that we are most grateful for is the gift of having a relationship with you. We thank you for giving us access to you. You allow us to get to know you. You pour out your love and acceptance. You have adopted us and called us your own. You give us your authority to walk in. How amazing.

We are so grateful for all that we have access to in you. We want to keep asking for more of you. We want to keep knocking at your door. We want to seek out all that you have for us. Help us to have constant motivation to go deeper in you. Today, we come knocking and we ask that you show us more of you. Allow your presence to be near to us in all we do. Let us hear your voice more clearly and see you working all around us. Give us your wisdom for every decision we face. Give us more of your joy so that we can share it with those around us. Give us your peace for every struggle we face today. Give us opportunities to stretch our faith and give us the courage to step into those things. Thank you again, for all that you want to share with us. It is an honor to call you our God and live our lives to serve you.

In Jesus name, amen.
