February 17, 2025 - 2 Timothy‬ ‭1‬:‭14

“Through the power of the Holy Spirit who lives within us, carefully guard the precious truth that has been entrusted to you.” 2 Timothy 1:14 NLT

Lord, we praise you for the truth that you have entrusted us with. What an honor it is to have the God over all share you, Jesus, our Truth with us. We praise you for the Bible that you have given us that is your living Word and Truth. Holy Spirit, we ask for you to help us to really treasure your truth. We never want to take it for granted. Like anything that we have of value, we are careful to treat it with care and respect. We won’t leave it out to easily be stolen. Help us look at your truth like that. Help us to be on guard against any lies that we would allow to come in and twist your truth. The Devil doesn’t want to make lies obvious to us. He is sneaky and manipulative. Please open our eyes to any place where we have bought into something that sounds good but isn’t truth. Uproot any lies in our lives. Give us a love for digging into your Word and give us your understanding. Increase our capacity to store your Word in our hearts so we quickly recognize when something doesn’t align with your truth. Help us learn to walk in the power you have given us to speak out and shut down the enemy’s attempts to steal our truth.  Let us be bold carriers of your truth that use it to bring glory to your name everywhere we go.
