February 14, 2022 - Song of Songs‬ ‭2:5

Jesus, our love. Today, we want to take some time to focus on you, our true and number one love. How wonderful that we will get to spend all eternity with you! We are so excited for the day that we get to cross over into the heavens and stand before you. We thank you that we don’t have to wait until that day to be in your presence. We call upon you today and ask that you would pour more of yourself over us. We long for more of you. We never want to leave the refreshing place of your loving presence.

Come and renew our love for you. Take us back to that place of new love. The place where your love takes our breath away. The place where we are like lovesick teenagers. We want you to be on our minds all the time. We want to be constantly trying to figure out how to spend more time in your presence. We want to feel butterflies in our stomach with anticipation for when we can steal a moment away with you. We want to bubble over with giddiness. Let it be impossible to hide our love for you. We want to feel lovesick for you and long to sit in your arms. We want to constantly long for more of you.

Come and hold us closely. Grow the depth of our love for you. Let us fall deeply in love with you. We want to feel the passion of new love, but we want to walk in strength of a love that is birthed in deep knowledge and intimacy. We want to dive into the depths of knowing you. We want to know you so well that we can anticipate your thoughts and actions. We want every action we take to be driven by our love for you. We want the longing for you in our hearts to call out so loudly. Come and pour your love out over us and draw us closer. Remove anything that separates us from all that you long to pour out over us. We don’t want anything to separate us from you.
