February 12, 2025 - Titus‬ ‭2‬:‭11‬-‭15

“For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age, waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works. Declare these things; exhort and rebuke with all authority. Let no one disregard you.” Titus 2:11-15 ESV

Lord, we see here that your grace is to train us to live for you in your kingdom ways. Wow. We can’t become what you want us to be without your grace. We will fail in our own strength. We need your grace. Let us come to you each morning and ask for your grace for the day. Let it come and teach us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions. We want to run towards your holiness. Let it set us apart from the ways of this world. Help us to stand out and look different from the world. Give us the grace we need to live in self-control and be upright in your sight. Purify us for you. Yes, Lord, do your work in us and make us a pure and spotless bride. We want to be ready and waiting for you to appear in all your glory. Pour out your grace over us and work in us so that we become zealous for you and do your good works.

Holy Spirit, walk with us and help bring the above to reality in our lives. Remind us to walk in your grace. Remind us to declare truth and change over our lives. Show us where we need to rebuke the enemy in our lives. Keep stirring passion within us and keep us from becoming passive or stagnate in any area. Drive out any worldly passions in our lives and keep our fire burning strong for you and your ways.
