Lord, I love how you are a creative God who loves to create. I can just envision the three of you, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, all creating together. In my mind you are brainstorming together and throwing out ideas, such as let’s make something to add beauty and color and then the flowers were created. Which one of you said let’s create something horse like, but we will give this version a super long neck with little horns? And who’s idea was the octopus? I absolutely love the variety that you gave us. The land plants & creatures, the water plants & creatures, the microscopic creations, and the creations that fill space, they are all more than we will ever discover in our lifetime. It’s more than every human will ever be able to discover in all their lifetimes. From the simple one cell organisms to the complexity of the human body, we will never be able to comprehend it all. Your creativity is amazing.
We thank you for displaying your love for us by creating so much for our enjoyment. We thank you for all the colors, textures, tastes, smells, sounds that you have given us to experience every day. What a gift your creation is to us. Open our eyes to see things with new vision. As we walk through our day, let us find the blessing in the gentle breeze that washes over us, in the pictures you are painting for us in the clouds overhead, in the fragrance of the flowers, or in the birds that sing your tunes to us. We want to see the world around us as an amazing gift that you have created for us to enjoy and discover. Help us not to get so caught up in the business of our days that we never pause to appreciate the details of all that you have created for us. Lord, we want to take the time to appreciate this gift. Thank you! You are so remarkable. We love you and all you do to show us your love.
