February 11, 2025 - Hebrews 7:25
“Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them.” Hebrews 7:25 ESV
Jesus, we see again here in Hebrews that you are interceding for us. What an amazing thing. We are so grateful for how you care for us. We praise you that you have saved us and will continue to be our savior for all eternity. There is nothing that we face that we can’t overcome through you. When we get to heaven, there will be so much more than we ever realized that you protected us from. We will spend all eternity praising your name for all that you saved us from.
Jesus, what an honor to have you interceding for us. We thank you. When you pray, what you say, happens. No might, if, or maybe it happens. What you say, happens. Period. There is no one else we would rather have pray for us. We also read in Matthew that your words don’t pass away. They remain forever. The things you pray over us go on forever. They are never forgotten or expire. Jesus, of all the things you could spend your time doing, you choose to think of us. You choose to pray for us. Your love and care for us is extraordinary. Please pray that we would begin to grasp the magnitude of your love for us in a much greater way and allow that to draw us closer to you. We want more of you, our Lord. Holy Spirit, reveal his love to us and let it transform us.
In Jesus name, amen.
