February 11, 2023 - John 3:31

“For the one who is from the earth belongs to the earth and speaks from the natural realm. But the One who comes from above is above everything and speaks of the highest realm of all!” John 3:31 TPT

Lord, we are so blessed that we serve the Almighty God. Nothing can begin to compare with you or your wisdom. We are so grateful that you long to share your wisdom with us. You are waiting patiently for us to come to you to just sit and listen to what you have to say to us. As we spend more time listening to your voice it will get easier to hear it and recognize it. Let us know it so well that we don’t have to question if what we are hearing is your voice or not. We want to listen and take in all that you have to say to us. Please come and speak.

Lord, we realize that there is wisdom that comes from getting advice from Godly people here on earth. They can guide us, support us, and confirm what you are saying to us, but they can’t replace hearing from you ourselves. Help us not to rely on man to get advice, guidance, or knowledge all the time. We must also learn to come to you directly, for you have so much that you want to share directly with each of us. You have created us to need each other, and we will grow in a healthier way if we can push each other forward in our walk with you. We need people who are further in their journey with you to help us on our own journey. We are human and often see the world through our own worldview, sin, hurt, and misunderstanding. That can make it easy for us to get things wrong. For that reason, we need others who can tell us when things are not lining up to your truth, but we also need to realize that others also are looking through their own lenses. It is so important that we know your voice and take the time to listen to what you want to tell us. Today, we silence our own thoughts and wait to hear from you.
