February 10, 2024 - Leviticus‬ ‭10:3‬b

“‘I will display my holiness through those who come near me. I will display my glory before all the people.’” Leviticus 10:3b NLT

Yes, Lord, we want to see your holiness. When we encounter you and you reveal yourself to us, our lives are forever changed. Draw us closer. Let us see you and let that change us. Encounters with your holiness will put us on our knees. It shows us who you really are, and not just the version of you we choose to believe. Destroy the boxes that we try to put you in. We give you permission to mess up any belief about you that isn’t true. Open our eyes to see you clearly.

Allow us to see how pure you really are. When we can see what true purity is, it allows us to see the places in our lives that are not pure. We want to have those areas washed clean by you. When we see true holiness, it makes us want to be more holy and surrender those areas that are not pure. Encounters with your holiness breaks strongholds over our lives and sets us free. We choose to take the time to come near to you today so we can see more of your holiness. Holy Spirit, come and lead us on that journey.

Lord, we want to see your glory. Show us how to pray in more of your glory to earth. Show us how to pray that eyes would be opened to see your glory all around us. Reveal yourself to us. We want to help you display your glory to the world. Let us live our lives in a way that your glory can be seen in us. Purify our lives so we are like a spotless mirror that can reflect you clearly to the world around us. As we draw near to you, make us more like you.

In Jesus name, amen.
