February 10, 2022 - Romans 8:1
“So now the case is closed. There remains no accusing voice of condemnation against those who are joined in life-union with Jesus, the Anointed One.” Romans 8:1 TPT
Lord, how amazing! We can never thank you enough for closing this case. It is finished forever. When we bring our sins to you, you wipe them clean. They are erased forever. Completely GONE. It is so hard to wrap our mind around this. Since we can remember them, and can often still feel guilty, it is hard to understand how you can erase them and then choose to forever forget them. But your Word says they are forgiven and removed. Help us learn to grasp this fact.
Show us the places where we are holding ourselves or others to a higher level than you. Teach us how to forgive and let go like you do. Open our eyes to the places where we are still living under condemnation and guilt where you have completely forgiven. Show us where we are giving the lies of the enemy permission to hold us in bondage where you have already set us free. We don’t want for an instant to refuse this gift that you gave your life to give us. That’s like saying your death wasn’t good enough for us. Jesus, that is not the truth. We are forever grateful and appreciative of all that you have done for us. Please help us overcome any condemnation and guilt in our lives. Please forgive us for choosing to believe the lies, instead of accepting the gift you freely give us.
Jesus, we thank you so much for the price you paid to give us into this life-union with you. You made a way to reunite us with the Trinity. Halleluiah. We want to walk in the freedom that you bought for us, so you get all the glory for the sacrifice that set us free. We are so grateful for your forgiveness. We thank you that there is nothing too big or too bad for your blood to cover and wash clean. All glory to you, Jesus.
In Jesus name, amen.
