Lord, today I am feeling so overwhelmed by your love. We praise you for how much you love us and how you love to pour it over us. We want to sit and rest in it today. Let it pour down over our head and run down over all of us. Help us still ourselves and push aside all the things pulling for our attention right now. We just want to focus on you. Let us climb up in your lap and listen to your heartbeat. We thank you that we are fully accepted and fully loved by you. Thank you that we don’t have to earn your love. It is freely given.
Lord, we want to hear from you right now. Tell us who you say we are. Brand who you say we are deep into us. Mark us in a way that we can never forget. We thank you for seeing beyond our faults and shortcomings. You see who you created us to be. You see all the potential that you put in us. You see where we are going. Lord, call that out in us. Thank you for calling us your own. We are totally loved by you. Open our eyes to see and our hearts to feel your love today. Allow us to feel your arms wrapped around us.
We praise you that you will go to any lengths to show us your love. Praise you that your love is unfailing. It is so amazing. It is better than life. Your love can defeat anything trying to keep it from getting to us. It is overwhelmingly beautiful. We praise you for how you choose to love us even when we don’t deserve it. We praise you for your goodness, your forgiveness, and your mercy that allow us to come into your presence. We praise you for the pureness of your love. There is never anything selfish about it. Lord, we thank you that your love is everlasting. Lord, help us learn to love you back like you love us. We want to run after you. We want to pursue you the way you pursue us. Help us search out all the treasures you have hidden just for us.
