December 8, 2023 - Psalms‬ ‭27:13‬

“I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.” Psalms 27:13 NIV

Lord, we thank you so much for your goodness. We thank you that your promises stand forever. We can stand confident in everything you say to us. We thank you that your promise in this verse says that we get to see your goodness in the land of the living. I have no doubt that when we get to heaven that we will be constantly overwhelmed with your goodness, but we thank you that we also get to experience so much of your goodness here on earth. You are truly good to us. You are abounding in goodness.

Lord, we thank you that your mercies and grace endure forever. You are forever faithful. You are our perfect, loving Father. You accept us and love us even when we are dirty and all messed up, like only a parent could do. You provide for our every need and bless us beyond what we deserve. You give to us in abundance - pressed down, shaken together, and running over. You satisfy the deep longing in our souls. You are a miracle working God. You do the impossible for us, so we can see your glorious splendor. We can see your beauty and goodness all around us as we look at your creation.

Lord, we thank you for making all your goodness available to us. We thank you that you don’t hide yourself from us, but you have hidden treasures for us to discover in the secret places of your presence. We praise you that you laid down so much and paid the price of our sin, so that we could walk in relationship directly with you. You made a way for us to personally come into your presence. What an honor. You are so good to us. Thank you, Father!

In Jesus name, amen.
