December 7, 2021‭‭ - 1 Timothy‬ ‭1:12

“I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that he considered me trustworthy, appointing me to his service.” 1 Timothy 1:12 NIV

Lord, we thank you for how you use us. You give us strength for each day. You give us strength for each task. Thank you that you make us so much stronger than we would ever be without you. Thank you that you will never call us to do something that you won’t help us through. We also thank you that there is nothing that we will have to face or go through in life that you won’t give us the strength to get through.

Lord, it is such an amazing thing that you call us trustworthy. It is so easy for us to look at our lives and see how much we fall short. Thank you for your forgiveness and that even when we let you down, you still choose us. What an honor. You have so much love for us. We are so grateful for how you extend it to us again and again. Thank you that your love isn’t based on our performance.

We also thank you that you have appointed us for your service. Also, such an honor. To think that the King of Kings and Lord of Lords has chosen each of us to accomplish your tasks. It would be so much easier for you to do things without our help. Yet, you choose to work through us. You put so much value on each of our lives. We praise you for that. Help us grow into the women you want us to be, so we are ready for each task you have for us. Help us accomplish all that you have called us to do. Remind us of who we are working for and help us always serve to the best of our ability with the best attitude.

In Jesus name, amen.
