December 6, 2023 - Psalms‬ ‭138:8‬

“You keep every promise you’ve ever made to me! Since your love for me is constant and endless, I ask you, Lord, to finish every good thing that you’ve begun in me!” Psalms 138:8 TPT

Lord, we thank you for your promises to us, and for the dreams and visions that you have given each of us to complete. We are so grateful that you are not a God that teases us or manipulates us with visions that you don’t plan on fulfilling. You don’t lead us to dead ends and then leave us there indefinitely. Thank you that you finish what you start.

Even when we are delayed or detoured, eventually, if we are obedient to you, you will fulfill your plans for us. Your ways and your timing might not be what we imagined, but we praise you that your promises will not come back void. The dream that you gave Joseph took 22 years to come to pass. I am certain that the journey he went on to see it fulfilled was way different than he thought it would be. I can’t imagine how hard it would have been for him to believe that you would somehow still do it. Yet, you came through and used that unexpected road to fulfill the dream.

Lord, we ask for you to help us hold on to hope when our journey seems way off course. When we have no idea how you will make it happen, let us always trust you to make a way. Keep the dream alive and help us to always believe. Lord, we declare in faith that we know you will finish what you have started. We speak life into the dreams and visions you have given us. We praise you that we are never forgotten nor are your plans for us. We praise you for the part we get to play in your plans. What an honor.

In Jesus name, amen.
