Lord, we want to finish out this year by taking time to thank you for all that you have done for us this year. We thank you for your faithfulness and abundant blessings. We thank you for how you have walked with us through all that we have faced. We thank you that even through the challenges you never left our side. You have caught every tear we shed, and you cherish them. We thank you that you were also with us through every celebration and victory. We thank you for those high moments. We thank you for the growth that we have seen in our lives this year. We thank you for how you have grown us in different areas of our lives over this year. We thank you for how you have spoken to us and led us through the many decisions that we had to make. In the decisions that we didn’t listen and messed up, we thank you so much for your forgiveness and for helping to fix our messes. We thank you that you remain faithful to us even when we mess up.
Lord, as we look toward next year, we want to praise you for all you have planned for us. We thank you for another year to spend serving you. We thank you for the blessings that are coming our way. We praise you for the things that you are going to teach us and the ways we are going to grow. Help us prioritize going deeper in the knowledge of who you are. We ask for you to help us prioritize you in this new year. We want you and your plans above our own schedules. Show us how you want our days, weeks, and months to look like in this new year. Show us who we are to be intentional about investing in and who we are to have invest in us in this new year. Show us how we are to make your name known throughout the world. We give this next year to you and can’t wait to see what all you do in and through us!
