December 30, 2023 - Psalms‬ ‭16:8

“I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.” Psalms 16:8 NIV

Lord, you are the Almighty. Nothing can defeat you. You are the God of breakthrough. Nothing can stop what you have declared. When you speak, things happen. Everything obeys at your command. Your word declared the universe into being. You speak and the ocean splits in two. You speak and the storm ceases to exist. You speak and demons flee. There is nothing you can’t do, no one that you can’t set free, no situation that you can’t change, and no heart that you can't redeem. Nothing can shake you. You are the God who was, who is, and is to come. For all eternity you are God Almighty. We praise you for you are worthy. We praise you for you are the Victorious One. We praise you for you are the Overcomer. We praise you for you are the Alpha and Omega - the beginning and the end.

We praise you that you walk by our side. You are our protector and our defender. You have our back, always. You don’t miss a thing. Thank you that there is nothing that this world or Satan can throw at us that can shake us unless we allow it. We put our trust in you. We thank you that you want to handle all our problems. Lord, we thank you that regardless of how hard the storm is raging around us, we can trust you to get us through it. Teach us how to rest in the storm. Help us understand the promise in this verse to the point that when it would be easy to fear, worry, or have anxiety, we live in total peace. Teach us to get more and more excited the more impossible our odds look because it just gives us a bigger opportunity to see you do a miracle.

We declare, into our new year, we will not be shaken! We will walk in victory and do the impossible with you. Hallelujah!
