December 29, 2023 - Mark‬ ‭5:36

“But Jesus refused to listen to what they were told and said to the Jewish official, “Don’t yield to fear. All you need to do is to keep on believing.”” Mark 5:36 TPT

Faith – Lord, it is a word that is easy to talk about but can be so hard to live out. Faith is to keep believing when everything around us says it’s impossible. We thank you that the smallest amount can move a mountain. We also thank you that you meet us where we are and help us grow our faith step by step. When you put David in front of Goliath, you didn’t start him right there. You started him with small things that grew to a lion and a bear, that then grew to Goliath. And you didn’t stop there, he went on to lead an army and a nation. Do the same in us that you did in David.

Lord, when life makes it so easy to see all the obstacles and things that are coming against us, help us overcome the fear and still believe. When we don’t understand where help is going to come from, let us say, “Our help comes from the Lord.” When things turn out differently than what we prayed, let us say, “God is faithful.” When we are hurting and it looks like you have failed us, let us say, “I believe that God is still faithful.”

Lord, we thank you for how faithful you are to us. We thank you that we don’t have to live a life in fear. We thank you that you are the God of the impossible. We thank you that you want to use each of us to do impossible things with you. Thank you that you have awesome stories to write with each of us. We can’t wait to see where you take us and what impossible things you are going to accomplish with us when we get past fear and believe. Lord, we do declare that all the days of our lives, no matter what we have been through or what we are facing, we will still believe.
