December 28, 2023 - 2 Corinthians 11:13-15
“These people are false apostles. They are deceitful workers who disguise themselves as apostles of Christ. But I am not surprised! Even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is no wonder that his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. In the end they will get the punishment their wicked deeds deserve.” 2 Corinthians 11:13-15 NLT
Lord, make us people who stand for truth and never deception. Help the church rise up and make a stand for truth. Help the leaders in our governments get a new appreciation for truth. Guard the people of our nations from lies. We ask that the Spirit of Truth would fall on our world in this time like never before. We command the spirit of deception to bow at the feet of Jesus where it belongs. We will not surrender our churches, countries, or world to it. We will take a stand for truth. Lord, any places where lies have been told, we ask for you to begin to uncover the truth and make it known in a way that it can’t be denied. If any pastor or any other kind of society leader is using deception or manipulation to control others, we ask that you put a stop to it. If they won’t make it right, expose them. Open people’s eyes to what is really happening.
Raise up your church to be a church that will not compromise on truth. Show us how to shift the narrative in our world. Show us what we can do both in the spiritual realm and in the natural to tear down the spirit of deception. As the church, don’t let us surrender to the fear that is being produced through the lies. We ask that you open the church’s eyes in a fresh way to see what is really going on. Give us a clear strategy on how to destroy Satan’s plans. Lord, let the change that we want to see in our nation and world start with us.
