December 26, 2024 - 1 Timothy‬ ‭6‬:‭15‬-‭16

“For, At just the right time Christ will be revealed from heaven by the blessed and only almighty God, the King of all kings and Lord of all Lords. He alone can never die, and he lives in light so brilliant that no human can approach him. No human eye has ever seen him, nor ever will. All honor and power to him forever! Amen.” 1 Timothy 6:15-16 NLT

Jesus, never let us forget how great you are. You are the Almighty God, the King of Kings, and the Lord of Lords. Every knee will bow before you and declare that you are the All-Powerful God. You are a light so brilliant that we can’t look on you, and darkness can’t exist around you. You are the Glory of God. You are Holiness and Righteousness. You are Justice. You are Wisdom and Knowledge. Even when we don’t understand we can trust in your goodness and faithfulness. You are our firm foundation that we can always trust. All life comes from you and exists in you. We join with heaven and proclaim our praises to your name. All honor belongs to you. Worthy, worthy, worthy are you, our Lord.

We can’t wait for the Father to determine that it is the day to reveal you to us again. Oh, what a glorious day that will be. Holy Spirit, help us live in a way that when our life here is over, we have no regrets. Help us get our lives in order now. Show us how to live our lives with your Kingdom perspective. Prepare us now for life in eternity with you. You are so worthy of our lives, and we surrender them to you now.  On the day of your return or when you call us home, let there be nothing but rejoicing as we know that we have run the race you set before us well. You deserve our all and we willingly lay our lives before you. All for your glory, our Lord!
