December 25, 2021 - John‬ ‭3:16-17‬

Merry Christmas!

“For here is the way God loved the world—he gave his only, unique Son as a gift. So now everyone who believes in him will never perish but experience everlasting life. “God did not send his Son into the world to judge and condemn the world, but to be its Savior and rescue it!”

John 3:16-17 TPT

Jesus, you are truly the best gift we will receive today. You have given us all that really matters. You have bought our freedom. You made a way for us to walk in relationship with you. You have adopted us as sons and daughters. You have shown us what real love is. You are so wonderful to us.

You are our rescuer - our hero. We thank you for paying the price to buy all of this for us. We thank you for how you love the world. You know and love every person you ever created. You so long for each of us to walk in relationship with you.

Jesus, today we want to give you a gift. We want to commit again to sharing your love and telling others about who you are. Jesus, you are the most joyous news that the world has ever heard! We want to proclaim it from the mountain tops until the whole world knows of your love. The love that compelled you to come to earth and give your life for us. Your love is so wonderful, how could we keep it to ourselves? You freely gave it to us, and we want to freely pass it on. Open our eyes to see opportunities to show your love and tell others about you. Help us have the boldness needed to step out of our comfort zones to share your love. Your sacrifices for us are so worth us doing that. We want you to receive the reward for your suffering. We commit to live our lives to see that happen.

In Jesus name, amen.
