December 22, 2024 - Isaiah‬ ‭9‬:‭6

“For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6 NLT

Father, we praise you that you gave your son for us. Oh, Jesus, you came, lived, and died for us. How amazing you are. We will spend eternity discovering more of who you are and your goodness. We will never find an end. Show us more of who you are now. We give our earthly lives to discovering more of you. Reveal yourself to us. We want to know you more. Show us more of the one whose shoulders the government rests on. You rule over everything. Nothing is beyond your reach or authority. You are our Almighty God. You have overcome and nothing can conquer you. All praise be to your name.

We praise you, our Wonderful Counselor. You are Wisdom. You are all knowing, and you want to lead and guide us. We praise you that you are always there with a listening ear and your wonderful insight. We praise you for being our Everlasting Father. You will never desert us or fail us. You are our perfect and loving Father. You designed every aspect of who we are. You cherish us and long to pour out your unending love over us. What a remarkable Father you are. We praise you, our Prince of Peace. You are the only one who can bring true peace and restoration into our lives. You are the only one who can silence the stress and chaos of our lives and help us walk in true peace and rest even when the storms rage all around us. You are extraordinary and it is such an honor to call you our Lord. Jesus, we will never cease praising you for coming to earth and making a way for us to be restored unto you. You are so worthy of all our praise!
