Lord, we thank you that your word never fails. When you promise something, it will come to pass. How wonderful that we can always stand on and trust in that regardless of what circumstances look like. The angel spoke this to Mary after he told her she would have Jesus. Lord, she just learned something that sounded completely impossible, but you said it would happen and it did. I love the way that you assure us. You tell Mary something totally impossible in the natural is going to happen, but then you tell her that it is not impossible with You. Thank you for meeting us where we are and helping us believe.
Lord, continue to build our faith. Thank you for the promises that you speak over our lives. Thank you that even if they sound totally impossible, if you spoke them, then you will bring them to pass as long as we walk in obedience to you. Help us do just that. Teach us how to trust you with the details. Teach us to obey everything you ask us to do, even if we don’t really understand. Teach us to stand strong and press into you even in the seasons when the promises seem so far away. Help us learn all that we need to learn and allow you to grow us into the people you need us to be so you can bring the promises to pass.
Lord, we are so grateful to serve a God that nothing is impossible for. You are all powerful and yet all loving. Thank you for wanting the best for us. Thank you that you have such great plans for our lives. Thank you for having plans that are bigger than us, so we can see you move through us. Thank you that you work through us to accomplish far more than we could ever do on our own. Thank you for how you love us and want to see us succeed. What an awesome God we serve!
