December 10, 2021‭‭ - Luke‬ ‭7:37-38

“When a certain immoral woman from that city heard he was eating there, she brought a beautiful alabaster jar filled with expensive perfume. Then she knelt behind him at his feet, weeping. Her tears fell on his feet, and she wiped them off with her hair. Then she kept kissing his feet and putting perfume on them.” Luke 7:37-38 NLT

Jesus, we want to come before you each day with the same level of worship and gratitude. She came before you and poured out all that she had. She didn't care what it cost her. She didn’t care about what everyone else thought. She didn’t care if it was inappropriate behavior within their culture. She didn’t care how dirty she got. All she cared about was honoring you with all that she had. All that she had was that bottle of perfume and herself. She poured it all out for you.

Jesus, we pour out all that we are before you today. We give you all our worship for you are worthy. We give you all our lives. We lay them down before you to do with them as you please. Let us be willing to give our all to you regardless of what it costs us. If we need to be uncomfortable, if we need to get dirty, if we need to go against cultural norms then we are willing. Let none of those things matter to us more than honoring you. Even if it requires us to sacrifice the most valuable things that we have, we choose to give our all to you. For you are worthy of our all.

We want to live our lives to minister to you as our highest priority. Lord, what do you want? What do you need? Let it be our life’s mission to do what we can to deliver those things to you. For you, Lord, are worthy. We give you all our love. We place you above all else. We place you and ministering to you above serving others. We place you and ministering to you above our own needs and wants. For you are worthy and worth all the sacrifice. We pour out all that we are before you.

In Jesus name, amen.
