December 1, 2023 - Ephesians‬ ‭2:10

“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” Ephesians 2:10 NLT

Lord, how wildly amazing that you would call us your masterpiece. You created some of the most breathtaking sights. It is also amazing the intricate details that your creations hold and the amazing way you make everything work together. Your creation is truly remarkable. Yet of all the crazy amazing things you have created, you call us your masterpiece. Us. Wow. What an honor! How much value does that put on our lives?

Thank you, Father, for how you see us. Give us more of an understanding of that. Open our eyes to see ourselves through your eyes. Let that revelation silence the lies that would want to tell us otherwise. Help us to believe and fully walk out the identity that you have given us. Help us walk confidently in your love. Let us understand the value that you place on us. Consider Leonardo da Vinci's Salvator Mundi, which sold for $450.3 million. If someone would pay that for a Leonardo de Vinci painting, how much more worth does the masterpiece of the greatest creator ever hold? We are worth the life of the Son of God. Thank you, Jesus, for what you paid for us. Thank you for the value that you place on our lives. Help us wrap our minds around this because it is hard to grasp. We are your children who are deeply loved and anything that would tell us otherwise is a lie.

Jesus, we thank you for the plans that you have for us. Thank you for the great future you have designed for each of us. We can’t wait to see all that you have in store.

In Jesus name, amen.
